Savannah Kopp
Hiiii! I’m a TV writer and filmmaker from Davis, CA, now based in Los Angeles. I majored in psychology at Stanford and am endlessly interested in the project of being human and trying to change and grow. I’ve worked in writers’ rooms on over a hundred episodes of TV (keep scrolling to watch the ones I wrote). Teen dramas made me want to write for TV, working in comedy rooms proved to me I could, and today I write both comedy and drama — and now, this newsletter!
What Are We Doing Here?
On this planet: TBD, will let you know if I find out. On this website: Well, I’m either sending thoughts into the void or writing directly to you, Dear Reader. Comment on my posts! Tell me what you want to read next! Ask me a question, I’ll channel my inner advice columnist! And if I don’t know I’ll ask my mom. She’s a therapist, you’ll listen to her.

In addition, I worked on BIZAARDVARK and RAVEN’S HOME as the writers’ assistant, and on DIARY OF A FUTURE PRESIDENT, FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS, and TELL ME LIES as the script coordinator. I contributed lines and story points on some episodes, and I wrote a LOT of street signs (and other things you didn’t notice) in the background.
